Equipment Needed For Courses

Cavern course

  • Recreational BCD

  • One regulator with normal recreational setup of two second stages – one with octopus size length hose (long 7 foot / 2 meter hose recomended) and second regular size length, inflator hose and SPG with clip attached

  • Wet suit 5mm with hood

  • Booties

  • Open heel fins

  • Mask – no snorkel

  • Safety reel

  • Three directional and three non-directional line markers

  • Submersible decompression table

  • Slate and pencil

  • Small and sharp knife

  • Pouch to store accessories, leg mounted recommended

  • Wrist mounted dive computer or bottom timer – no console

  • Digital chronometer

  • One primary light

  • One backup light

    Intro to Cave and Full Cave course

  • Wing style BCD with a lift of 38 - 45 lbs no redundant wing as we dive 80 cft alm double tanks. Redundant wing is required if you can't maintain flotation on the surface with an empty wing, wearing a wetsuit. Wearing a drysuit may serve as redundant BCD

  • Backplate and harness recommended or soft pack and harness

  • Two balanced regulators with DIN connectors recommended. One first stage with a short second stage hose and second stage with rubber necklace and SPG with clip attached to it. Second first stage with a 7 foot / 2 meter long second stage hose and second stage with clip attached to it with low pressure inflator hose.

  • Wet suit 5mm with hood minimum. Bring your dry suit if diving dry at home most of the time

  • Booties

  • Open heel fins

  • One Safety reel, One primary reel, one jump / gap reel

  • Three directional and three non-directional line markers

  • Submersible decompression table

  • Slate and pencil

  • Small and sharp knife

  • Mask and spare mask – no snorkel

  • Pouch to store accessories, leg mounted recommended

  • Wrist mounted dive computer or bottom timer – no console

  • Digital chronometer

  • One primary light canister type with minimum burn time two hours and 35 watt halogen / 10 watt HID or equivalent light output

  • Two back up lights with minimum three c-cell batteries and minimum burn time two hours each

  • Technical diving courses incl. Technical cave

  • Wing style BCD with minimum (40lbs) lift and (40 - 50 lbs) is recommended as we dive 80 cft alm double tanks. Redundant wing is required if you can't maintain flotation on the surface with an empty wing, wearing a wetsuit. Wearing a drysuit may serve as redundant BCD

  • One primary light canister type with minimum burn time two hours and 35 watt halogen / 10 watt HID or equivalent light output depending on dive environment

  • Two back up lights with minimum burn time two hours each depending on dive environment

  • One, two or three oxygen clean balanced stage regulators with DIN connector fitted with short HP hose and SPG, with 40 inch octopus size length second stage hose and clip attached to the second stage depending on level of training and diving

  • One, two or three stage bottle rigging including rubber band’s to store low pressure second stage hose, carrying strap and clips for 40 cft and 80 cft alm stage tanks depending on level of training and diving

  • Rebreather courses

  • Rebreather unit the course is to be taken with, or rental unit

  • Sufficient Co2 absorbent to change absorbent each and every day for the planned dive or training duration

  • Sufficient batteries for the electronics to last double the duration of planned dive time

  • Wing style BCD minimum lift 35 lbs, depending on level of training and diving. Redundant wing is required if you can't maintain flotation on the surface with an empty wing, wearing a wetsuit. Wearing a drysuit may serve as redundant BCD
