Full Cave Diver - Cave II

Full Cave - This is the ultimate goal for most divers searching out cave diver training, in our opinion this is a great level to achieve to start your future in learning about the cave environment and to practice you skills learned during your series of cave courses.

Most of our students take the cavern diver, intro to cave diver and full cave diver combo training program which takes a minimum of 8 days to complete.

Upon certification to this level you will have mastered the skills required to dive in this unique overhead environment. This course is not to be taken lightly and your accomplishment of reaching this level is rewarding in itself. From this point on you are certified and qualified to practice, dive, and enjoy the underwater world of penetration cave diving.

Here along the Riviera Maya in Southern Mexico you will find many of the largest and greatest cave dives in the world, some of which you will dive during your course, others we will be here and ready to show you later.

The Cave Diver level of training is not the end of own training in the overhead environment but a very high goal. At this level divers are trained in specialized techniques that will make all their diving better, and allow them to safely enter the overhead environment with their diving team. The ProTec Advanced Training Team is specialized in training Cave Divers and a world leader in training divers at this level.

Limits - Maximum of 3 students per instructor

NOTES: At this level of training you need to be Nitrox Certified, the training can be done at the same time. This course is started and completed in double cylinders, and students are highly encouraged to own their own equipment at this point.
