Technical Cave diver

Technical Caver Diver - Take a Full Cave Diver Course a bit further, add some nitrox and then some oxygen for decompression stops and you end up with the start of a Technical Cave Diver Program. The entire purpose of this program is to train competent divers safe cave diving and the technical utilization of EANx for cave exploration, and the use of both nitrox and oxygen for decompression following cave dives.
You will learn applications of diving that will benefite both your cave and open water diving. Here along the Riviera Maya coast of Mexico we have plenty of cave systems that have nitrox written all over them. Shorter no-decompression limits for the nitrox dives and more efficient decompression when using the higher O2 mixes during your decompression stops. This course will take you through the many applications of Nitrox and Oxygen and all of the mixes in between.
Prerequisites - Must be a minimum of 18 years of age (age can be waived for cause with a notarized statement). Must be certified advanced nitrox level of diving.
Course Description - This course can be taught a number of different ways and the requirements depend on the divers certification and experience levels going into the course. The course can be an upgrade if you are currently certified as a cave diver and would like to add the technical side.
For full cave divers who are technical divers a two day program will combine cave diving and technical diving techniques. For full cave divers who are not technical divers the training program will take 4 days to complete.
Student Ratio - There is a maximum of three students per instructor for this course.
After completion and certication of this course divers will be issued a Technical Cave Diver Certification card and wall certificate as well as being qualified to dive within the limits of their training.
